100YR OLD BIRTHDAY INTERVIEW

FIRST I HAVE TO SAY THAT IT IS ALWAYS MY HONOR TO MEET AND SPEAK WITH ANY AND ALL CENTENNIAL. I HAVE TO SAY MS. NATALIE L. GREEN IS ONE OF THOSE 100 YR OLDS WHO DON'T LOOK, TALK, OR ACT 100YRS OLD. I SAT IN HER KITCHEN THE DAY EVERYONE WAS CELEBRATING HER BIRTHDAY AND WAS AMAZED BY HER! I WANT TO THANK MS. NATALIE L. GREEN AND HER FAMILY FOR INVITING ME IN TO DO THIS INTERVIEW WITH HER AND TAKE SOME PHOTOS FOR THE NEW PITTSBURGH COURIER STORY WE DID IN FEBRUARY. I ALSO WANTED TO APOLOGIZE FOR HOW LONG IT TOOK ME TO PUBLISH THIS VIDEO DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF CONTENT I CREATE IT WAS LOST IN THE FILES. I ALSO WANT TO THANK THE FAMILY FOR REMINDING ME ABOUT THIS VIDEO SO I COULD GO BACK FIND IT EDIT IT AND PUBLISH IT!
HERE IS SOME INTEL ON MS. NATALIE L. GREEN.

Natalie L. Green was born in Birmingham Alabama on January 28,1922, and that's where she grew up at. MS. Green graduated from Orburrell High School in 1940 and graduated from Paine College in 1944.

MS. Green taught elementary school in Cleveland, Alabama, Oklahoma, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.
Ms. Green is a retired Pittsburgh Elementary school Teacher where she taught for over thirty years and served as a Pre-School Supervisor.

MS. Green became a member of Sahara Court No.9 in 1950 and is still a member in good standing. (72 years). Ms. Green served as Illustrious Commandress in 1974 and was Worthy Matron in 1976. Ms. Green was also appointed Deputy for the Oasis of Pittsburgh and served for 13 years in that position.

MS. Green has been a member of Bathsheba Chapter No. 25 since May 25, 1968 where she served the station as Recording secretary for over 30 years and just recently retired from that position

MS. Green is a member of Bethel AME on the Hill and is under the watch care of St. Mark AME Zion Church in Wilkinsburg.
