His handlers try so hard to make him look smart that they feed him political 'hot takes,' that rarely end in a net positive for his image and almost always end in a "clarification," or walk back.
They literally place books in his hands that he's never read, proving that he's fed silly talking points.
He's become a meme of dumb lies and exaggerations that he's always putting out there being a try hard.
