Highway 3 Twinning Study - December 13, 2022 - Angela Stewart

A study says twinning Highway 3 here in southern Alberta could bring in around 1.5 billion dollars in GDP to the Alberta economy. The analysis by Price Waterhouse Coopers says the project would also create thousands of jobs throughout the construction phase. Government officials say the twinning of Highway 3 will be a costly endeavor, with the stretch of Taber to Burdett costing taxpayers around 150 million dollars.
