Archery Deer Season: Bow Hunt Success! Catch and Cook

We had an amazing bow hunt. On the first day of our hunt we caught a glimpse of the 3x3 Mule/Blacktail mix deer we had spotted and shown on our previous scouting videos poking his head out of the timber along with the two whitetail deer.

It was so dry and crunchy, there was only one possible way to get behind them which involved a mile long stalk through the dry crunchy timber and I had to wait for the wind to be just right. These were just a couple of the many challenges that we were presented with as you will see.

Apologies the stalk part was mostly filmed on an Android phone and a lot of voice over was needed to add context. I did not bring a real camera for the stalk. It's tricky enough pull off this kind of stalk, let alone try to film it.
