Schrade Knife SCHF36 - Bushcraft or Camp Kitchen Knife - Domestic Bushcraft

I purchased. Schrade SCHF36 to use as a kitchen knife. The description of this knife is one of bushcraft or tactical knife. I am planning on using it for my camp kitchen knife and so the first thing to do was to remove the black paint coating that the knife comes with. I think after the removal of the coating and test using it im my kitchen to make food I am tentatively convinced that this may be a good knife to use in camp. It is a little bit on the thick side but I am optimistic.
