How Ukrainian military didn't let people to get evacuated

'All the Ukrainian soldiers and generals came. And when people approached our buses, all those nationalist militants said: 'What? Are you traitors? You're leaving?!' The people were put under the great moral pressure'.

The battle of Debaltsevo became one of the hardest hostilities of the Donbass conflict. Civilians who wanted to get evacuated could choose to move to Ukrainian-controlled area or to the DPR. Most of Russian-speaking people didn't want to go to Ukraine. But Ukrainian military in Debaltsevo poin didn't let them to go to buses or put people under the moral pressure.
