In this video I share with you all some creative development as I work on my shading placements and tones. In this timelapse video you will see me practice where I want my darker areas and where I want my lighter areas. Not only am I practicing shading placement I am also practicing different tone spotting.

For me shading is a very tricky area that I want to not only get very comfortable with I want to master some shading fundamentals. When I first started I had no idea on how I would even go about shading let alone placing the correct shading in the right areas along with knowing how dark to go was so daunting.

I feel practicing shading on paper or even digitally is a great way for me to practice and build my skills in shading placement and shading gradients. I will bring an in depth review on this needle cart that I am using as well as some exercises we can implement to better our shading.
