Why I don't grow Citrus in Florida 🍋 🚫
Not surprisingly, everyone in Florida is a citrus lover and asks us to plant them a lemon or lime tree. It saddens us to turn them down, but we pride ourselves in growing organically and citrus greening does not allow us to do so. However, we will continue to pave the way forward and plant with diversity and educate the world!
Urban Abundance is helping South Florida residents transform any yard or lawn into a beautiful, and functional edible landscape.
Fruit trees, vegetable gardens, food forests, pollinator plants, you name it! We are helping Florida feed itself by creating local, organic, and abundant food systems.
