Canada Day Rocks Hello Everyone!

Here is a fun activity for coming Canada Day!
Developmental Goal/Activity Objective: To practice creative art and fine motor skills while learning about Canada Day.
Materials Needed:
1. Rocks
2. Red paint
3. White paint
4. Paint brushes
Procedures/Strategies:
a. Go on a nature walk and have children collect rocks. Make sure they are large enough to paint on.
b. Have the children paint the rocks with red and white paint. They can create the Canadian flag or something else that they think represents Canada.
