Had the great pleasure to talk to Professor Enrico Baiano on episode 147 of the Songbird Music Podcast.

Professor Baiano is an expert on the music of Domenico Scarlatti and we chat about Scarlatti's music and many interesting related topics like the Fadini edition, interpretation and he demonstrates live on the show many examples. We discussed performance practice informed by music history and theory, especially regarding the 16th-18th centuries. He has a tremendous unpublished book on Scarlatti that is looking for a good publisher and we discuss topics from the book.

I have to say, it's one of my favorite interviews because of the range of topics covered and his beautiful playing.
