Conditioned fears can be programmed into our DNA, but the good news is mushrooms and their friends can extinguish them, and remove the "memory". It is not trauma that changes your DNA, but fear that can program your DNA. Fear is necessary for our survival, and every generation must be able to learn new fears as situations change.
