Garuda Wisnu Kencana Bali, is a statue of Garuda Wisnu Kencana on Ungasan Hill, Bali, which is included in the list of the tallest statues in the world. The statue with a height of 121 meters costs around IDR 450 billion to make. Not only is it one of the icons of the City of Bali, but it is also one of the tallest statues in the world. The Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue is the work of artist Nyoman Nuarta. This statue depicts Lord Vishnu riding the Garuda bird. The construction project for this statue started in 1997 and was completed in 2018. Garuda Wisnu Kencana Bali, Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park), or often called GWK, is a cultural tourism park in the southern part of the island of Bali.
