BRITAIN'S COASTLINE

From the Jurassic Coast of Dorset to the Bristol Channel, south-west England has glorious scenery ranging from the rural tranquillity of Devon to the rugged coves of Cornwall. We have a strong maritime history which includes Dartmouth, wide-open skies and reed-fringed marshes, magnificent beaches all characterising the coastline of East Anglia. Hidden away in the estuaries and creeks of Essex are a handful of glorious towns like Maldon and Tollesbury. Further north are some of the best seaside resorts including Aldeburgh and Southwold. The North Yorkshire Heritage Coast forms the eastern edge of the North York Moors National Park and includes Staithes,
