Episode 43 with Lisa Quarrell

Lisa Quarrel is the mother of Cole who at the age of 3 was diagnosed with drug resistant epilepsy. After trying 20 different drugs and even brain surgery Coles parents were told by the doctors that there were no safe options left for Cole
However as any good parent would Lisa refused to give up and came top learn about medical cannabis from other parents who were using it successfully to treat their kids seizures.
This led to Lisa who used be a cop in the UK to becoming an international drug smuggler bringing cannabis oil from Holland back to Scotland.
She since however has secure a private prescription for Cole but as its not NHS funded she has to raise £1300 a month to pay for Cole's medicine.
