Suspect leads Atlanta officers on a police chase in a stolen truck

On November 18, 2022, Zone 3 Officers were actively searching for a stolen Ford F-150 in the Mechanicsville neighborhood. The vehicle was located at a BP Gas Station with a suspect inside the vehicle.

The suspect, Calvin Bailey, attempted to flee in the stolen truck when officers made their approach. Calvin Bailey struck an APD patrol vehicle and another vehicle in his attempt to evade arrest.

Officers would ultimately remove Calvin Bailey from the stolen truck and place him under arrest for Theft by Receiving, Fleeing & Eluding, Hit & Run, and various traffic violations.
