Doug articulates how I have felt pretty much my entire life. You're here, but you don't know why... and you choose to inflict that state of being onto another person.
Granted, most people who are still struggling with the nature of existence, the meaning of life or simply haven't resolved some past trauma(s) are in that situation because of poor handling by those around them... and blaming small, frightened children who are wandering about in the dark for not knowing what they are doing... well, they can hardly be held accountable for their actions.
They know not what they do, after all.
