The ONLY Platinum Coinage In The WORLD: Russia's 1828-1845 Quadmetallic Experiment

Often we think of gold, silver, and bronze as being metals that are used in coinage, but Russia's 1828 experiment with the introduction of platinum was the only time a country tried to do it - and it wasn't necessarily successful. However, we did get an extremely interesting story and historical happening out of it, and that's what I'm here to talk about today! Maybe it's a neat collecting objective to add to your collection (the 3 Rouble being attainable for some collectors, the 6 and 12 much tougher), or just a cool story to know about, but I'm super excited to walk you through it today.
