Protesters clashed with police during an anti-government rally in Podgorica, Monday. Police used pepper spray as hundreds of demonstrators gathered in protest over a law curbin presidential powers and the government's failure to appoint judges to the constitutional court. Footage shows activists waving flags and throwing fireworks and other objects at officers, attempting to break through the police barrier in front of the parliament. Montenegro's constitutional court has been blocked for months after retirement of judges, posing a potential threat to next year's presidential elections.
