Russian Chips are a catastrophic failure

Chips made entirely in Russia seem to be a catastrophic failure.
One of Russia’s domestic chip companies MCST which has previously relied on manufacturing their chips abroad in Taiwan & Europe.
Has said that it’s exploring switching their production to Russian factories owned by JSC Mikron.

They said they could create excellent processors with purely Russian technology.
However it was said that last years testing of Elbrus chips developed by MCST, was a catastrophic failure showing their processing, memory & bandwidth capacity to be far below those developed by intel.
