Pro Teaches n00bs: Lesson 24: I Can't Believe It's Not the Justice League

On the newest lesson of Pro Teaches n00bs. Bianca & I continue our look at the Super Buddies Duology! And this one is even better than the last!

Time has passed since the events of the last mini. Captain Atom is gone, apparently a z-list super villain Blackguard has moved in next door...but he's reformed...his business partner is Guy Gardner...oh boy! Everyone thinks Sue is pregnant (She's not), Booster wants to be taken seriously, Mary and Fire are roommates (That's a disaster waiting to happen) and...they accidentally get sent to hell!

As much as this is still a funny book, this one has more serious character moments as well. ESPECIALLY when, while in hell, they come across Ice! And they have a chance to bring her back from Hell! But...well...let's just say it doesn't end well. Also Booster tries to prove he's not the moron people think he is!

The downside with this book was...it came out JUST as Identity Crisis AND the Prelude to infinite crisis came out! So you have Sue not only being murdered...BUT she was pregnant too (OUCH!) AND Maxwell Lord turning on everyone AND shooting Blue Beetle in the head! YEAH....ummm...YIKES....

That being said this is still an incredible work and is the peak of the Bwa-Ha-Ha era if you ask me!
