Halo content creators sell out? | Halo Infinite not performing for them

in the last few days you cant but help notice that literally every Halo Infinite content creator has released a Splitgate video. From Sean W, HiddenXperia, Arrrash, LatenightGaming, Rocketsloth, Ascend Hyperion. What marked this out from other times Youtubers have branched out of thier niche is that it was all sponsored content, and that pretty much everyone copped some hate for it.

And there has been some back lash which I'd like to address.
Seems like lots of creators took flack on line, in their comments, on twitter and reddit. Some of this comes as no surprise but it was the manner of the hate which got me intrigued. What does this say about the state of Halo fandom? What does it say about the state of the game?
