In this episode I talk about a very important topic in homesteading, storing food. A freezer(s) is an essential part of this. If they die and you don't know, you lose a lot of money. This episode shows my solution to this problem by implementing a temperature monitoring system to let me know if the freezer fails. I chose to use the HomeAssistant automation platform along with ESPHome, an ESP32 microcontroller, and an Inkbird BLE temperature sensor.
