How to Make Gingerbread Chocolate Chip Cookies

As you can tell, this is one of my older videos.

10 Tbsp unsalted butter, softened (for a vegan version, use Earth Balance baking sticks)
100g granulated sugar (I used organic, raw sugar and ground it up a bit in a food processor so it dissolved into the cookie better when baking)
108g light brown sugar (For clean eating substitute Coconut Sugar)
6 Tbsp molasses (I prefer blackstrap molasses but any will do. Some are more mild in taste then others. You could try half honey and half molasses too.)
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp ginger
Pinch of ground cloves
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
260g all purpose flour (I used whole wheat pastry flour)
1 1/2C (263g) semi-sweet chocolate chips (Cane sweetened chocolate chips for clean eating)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
