Don’t Stop Believin’

For about ten years,
Through the hope and through the tears,
We kept on educating and rescuing.

Many threats were made,
And people out there throwing shade.
But Carole persevered
And kept the faith.

Law enforcement they all know,
What happened up in Ohio.
But the bill would get no vote,
It went on and on and on and on...

We kept waiting
Hoping that the bill would pass.
The big cats need us to survive.

Lions, tigers,
Living in captivity.
Their future finally to be free.

Working hard to pass the bill
Too many people want the thrill
Paying any price to hold a cub
Get a photo op.

The cats will win, they will lose
Those who breed and cause abuse.
Oh the future looks so bright!
It goes on and on and on and on....
