Civil War Metal Detecting Adventure starts with a BIG BOOM! 2019

Our latest Civil War Metal Detecting Adventure starts with a BIG BOOM! We traveled to Mississippi where we met with our friend Kevin. He let us fire his Civil War Cannon a few times to get us in the mood to hunt a battle that was one of the longest sieges in the war. We then used our metal detector in woods, swamps, and even a few yards to find civil war relics. Some of these relics were the first for us as we did a few rare or less common pieces. Join in this History Seekers adventure as we seek our History exploring the backwoods of Mississippi and Louisiana Swamps. Or maybe you just want to watch the firing of a civil war cannon. We took our Minelab Equinox 800 metal detector, CTX 3030, and XP Deus to aid in our search for lost treasure from the 1860s.
