Activists knit Mexico City's Angel in red

Mexico City's iconic Angel of Independence was covered in red on Sunday (December 11) to denounce the violence, disappearances, femicides and human trafficking in Mexico. The event was organized by the Hilos collective and the group's founder, Claudia Rodriguez, said the red was "a metaphor for all the blood that has been spilled."
