Messi's Argentina train two days before World Cup Semi-Final against Croatia

Argentina trained on Sunday as Lionel Scaloni's side continued their preparations ahead of their FIFA World Cup semi-final against Croatia, which will take place at the Lusail Iconic Stadium in Qatar.

The two-time world champions booked their place in the last four with a penalty shoot-out victory over the Netherlands in an ill-tempered quarter-final clash.

Meanwhile, 2018 runners-up Croatia also advanced to the semi-finals with a penalty shoot-out win, as they ousted pre-tournament favourites Brazil.

Argentina's star forward Lionel Messi will hope to move a step closer to securing one of the few titles which has so far eluded him during his glittering, trophy-laden career - while 2018 Ballon d'Or winner Luka Modric will have a similar target in mind for Croatia when the two teams meet on Tuesday.
