Phillip Schofield is getting ready to partake in a break over Christmas

Toward the beginning of today's Phillip Schofield has reported his "keep going day" on the show.

The moderator routinely fronts ITV's leader daytime program with Holly Willoughby. The principal moderators front the show from Monday - Thursday before Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary take over on Fridays.

Holly and Phil are set to have one more jam pressed version of the program. Notwithstanding, Phil has uncovered it will be their last show before they partake in a merited break over the happy season.

He took to his Instagram profile to uncover he has partaken in an early morning glass of port before his stretch away. He said: "Last day for the @thismorning make-up room treatment pack. Port at 8am."

The show routinely turns its moderators during significant occasions in the UK as Alison and Dermot have accepted the fundamental moderator job at Easter and throughout the late spring.

Holly and Phil have completely embraced the happy soul as they went to the show's Christmas celebration recently. The group accumulated for a merry lunch at the Fox and Bird Bar.

The bar is claimed by James Gruff and the performer gatecrashed the slam close by radio DJ Chris Evans. Alison left fans in hysterics as she posted an Instagram reel highlighting show top picks like Dermot and Clodagh Mckenna.

Notwithstanding, Phil uncovered a contest champ at the party was "disheartened" that one more of the show's primary moderators, Josie Gibson, couldn't make it.

Phil said: "Josie was occupied yesterday and
couldn't go." Holly added: "We were undeniably frustrated Josie wasn't there."
