Ekipa Silver Ring with Ivory - Beautiful Piece
1 year ago
6
We collected several traditional "Ekipas" from Namibia and used one to manufacture a sterling silver ring.
These decorative items, originally made in ivory were in use among the "Owambo" tribes in Namibia. Married women were usually gifted from their family and their man during special occasions and worn continually as neckpieces or at the waist, thanks to a leather string.
