And now for something completely different as we start with the theme song of The Great Escape into the Haggis Brothers and Hot Damn and off we go into the work week. We're in a weird mood and that could be reflected in the segues we crank out this week. Plus we're not happy that "the Mailman" didn't win Saturday night while some third string quarterback from some minor and obscure California college that couldn't even crack the Top Five won instead... the fix was in...
Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.
It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.
Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
