DESCRIPTION BY INSIDE EDITION

A principal performed life-saving CPR after a student collapsed and stopped breathing. Jody Sowards says he wasn’t sure what was going on when a colleague told him he needed to come help a student. Timothy Johnson, an eighth-grader, was participating in a basketball exercise when he started feeling unwell. He left the gymnasium and went to sit in the hallway, hoping to recover, but he went unconscious and fell to the floor. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
