Surah Al Ankabut ayat 40

Then We punished each of them with Our torment because of his sin. So among them, there were those We dropped stones on them from the burning ground, they were the people of Lut, and there were those who were struck by a tremendous sound, they were the Saleh people and the Shua'ib people, and there were those who were immersed in the earth, such as Qarun, and some We drowned, they are the people of Noah, Pharaoh and his people. And Allah did not destroy them because of other people's sins, so He wronged them by destroying them without deserving of that punishment, but they had wronged themselves, by living in the pleasures of their Lord, but instead worshiped other than Him.
