Breakdown of this range session:

Working with a new holster, new gun and new position of the combo.

First lesson: I don’t remember checking if the weapon was loaded - dangerous and not safe.
Second lesson: notice my anticipation of the shot
Third lesson: tap and rack was not quick nor was it instinctual to do so
Fourth lesson: work with the weapon more to gain confidence and tap and rack comes quickly
Fifth lesson: the holster was not clipped onto my belt properly therefore, making it more difficult to draw if holster comes out with the gun
Sixth lesson: missed the shot cause I was thinking about all the things aforementioned
Seventh lesson: focus on the shot, what’s done is done
Eight lesson: re-holster and keep working reps
