Matthew Shephard detailed were HIDDEN by the media.

Matthew Shephard's death was in October of 1998. I remember it happening and being all over the news for years. I remember the articles, plays , movies and documentaries being all over the place.

Now in 2022, This was the first I had heard about any of these details.

Sidenote: Personally, I think it's sick that all these organizations that never knew him or he was never a part of are still using him to make money.
