Are You Dreaming of a White Christmas? -Great Lakes Weather

I'm dreaming of a.... series of low pressure systems that will bring multiple rounds of rain and/or snow over the next couple of weeks. A high pressure barrier is forming over Canada that will block off arctic air over the next few days. A low pressure system will surge up into the Great Lakes region, moving back southeast after encountering the high pressure to the north. Snow will likely occur in Central and northern Michigan, whereas most places south will mainly see rain.
