Florida Emu Goes Viral For Phone-Hating Ways

ORLANDO, Fla. — Emmanuel the emu is pecking his way to fame with his disdain for cell phones.

Whenever Taylor Blake tries to make a video at Knuckle Bump Farms in South Florida, someone takes issue with the recording device.

"Emmanuel don't do it. Emanuel! Don't. do. it," Blake is heard scolding him in the now-viral videos.

"Emmanuel has always had a hatred of two things. One of them is phones, and the other one is buttons," she explained.

Blake said she's never lost a phone to Emmanuel's antics. Sometimes she is able to keep him from attacking by using the three-name trick.

"Emmanuel Todd Lopez! Emmanuel," she warns.

Emmanuel and Blake live on a small hobby farm that raises miniature cattle.
