Are Labour now saying Mrs Thatcher was correct closing coal mines?

Are Labour now saying Mrs Thatcher was correct closing coal mines? In the 1980’s Labour seemed to be pro coal mines. Perhaps it was because coal mining unions may have been giving money to Labour back then. But for years Labour and the left told us how Mrs Thatcher was wrong in closing coal mines. However today Labour now seems to be against coal mines. So one can only presume that Labour and the left must be saying Mrs Thatcher was wonderful helping closing the mines. I am not pro coal mines myself as I see them both as dangerous for workers and bad for the environment. My point is that Labour seem to support something depending on what unions are funding them. One suspects today they probably do not get much money from coal mining unions (if they even still exist).
