Holly Barrier damages plants which attack it - along the lines of Endurian.
Holly Barrier can launch a berry and create a mini-Barrier of itself if the tile is unoccupied.
Holly Barrier's Berry Launch will knock back all zombies in a 3x3 area one tile.

Commentary:
The money plants which are upgrades to existing plants tend to offer different approaches to how to defeat the zombies. This one is no different. For 150 Sun, this plant can create three (3) little Endurian-like plants. Three (3) little versions of itself which can hinder the zombies and almost can cover all five (5) lanes. This can help skip the early part of the level and concentrate more on the mid-level.

Bottom Line:
The knock back is nice. The mini-walls do work. One can design strategies around this plant.

However, one problem with this plant is the micro-managing feature. Having to manually launch a berry. When you launch a berry, you are not collecting Sun or placing another plant. One also can not launch the berries all at once - one can only launch a 2nd berry once the first one has impacted the lawn.

The other problem with this plant is that they are defensive in nature - they are walls or speed bumps. They simply slow down zombies. The bottom line is that one needs to eliminate the zombies. Defensive plants do not do that very well. At best they simply are supplemental plants.
