"The biggest players are favoured over small producers because they are able to 'buy' favour (lobby $$$$$) to curry concession privilege in a regulatory climates. By the time regulations get inacted to the farm level it ALWAYS hurts the small producers and favors the large producers."

Large and few agro businesses end up controlling our whole food production system. Which is very evident now in many industries not just food production but in medical and media systems.
