TIP NCPS 2022 report ranks police & judiciary most corrupt in Pakistan

Transparency International Pakistan (TIP) in its National Corruption Perception Survey (NCPS) 2022 has found Pakistan's Police most corrupt, tendering & contracting as 2nd most corrupt, the judiciary 3rd most corrupt and education 4th most corrupt sector in Pakistan.

The Survey was released on 9 December also showed no confidence in anti-corruption entities including NAB. According to province-wise breakdown, Punjab Police was found to be more corrupt than Sindh Police.

The three most corrupt public service sectors for which people have to pay bribes are contracts for roads, electricity and clean drinking water. 70% of Pakistanis believe that funds were not distributed transparently during the recent floods in Pakistan.
