Both Thor and Aquaman are remarkable warriors but when it comes down to pitting both against each other, Aquaman comes out on top because he is Poseidon and the seas and all that is in it is under his command where as Thor only controls thunder and for a very long time he couldn't do so without the help of Mjolnir.
