A man who fights for the homeless in our city says the Alberta government isn’t doing enough to help our most vulnerable. Bill Ginther, the executive director of the Lethbridge Soup Kitchen took to Facebook and blasted Alberta’s Deputy Premier and Infrastructure Minister Nathan Neudorf. Ginther called on the province to do more to address the homeless issues here in our city.

Members of Lethbridge City Council say they are working with the province for potential funding to help build and implement a sober shelter in our city including the Civic Ice Centre.

We reached out to Deputy Premier and Lethbridge-East MLA Nathan Neudorf for comment on the story but did not hear back by our broadcast deadline.
