Decided to make these delicious pork baby back ribs, they take about 5 hours to make on a grill/smoker.
.- Preheat your grill to 215*F
.- Remove the membrane on the back side of the ribs with a knife and a piece of paper towel. Rub with your favorite or preferred seasoning.
.- Place the seasoned baby back ribs on the grates of your grill, meat side up and smoke for 2.5 hours.
.- After 2.5 hours, remove from the grill and turn the temperature up to 250*F
.- Place the ribs inside an aluminum tray, and pour a cup or more of apple juice - depending on the thickness of the ribs, cover the tray with a sheet of aluminum foil.
.- Return the trays to the grill for another 2 hours.
.- Remove the ribs from the apple juice bath, and the grill.
.- Turn the temperature up to 350*F
.- Place the ribs directly on the grates of your grill and proceed to coat them with your favorite BBQ sauce.
.- After 15 minutes and or once the BBQ sauce has started to firm up a bit, check the ribs and do not allow the sugars from the BBQ sauce and from the apple juice to burn.
.- Remove the ribs from the grill and place them on a tray. Let them rest for 5 minutes, serve and enjoy!
