Islington Town Hall 8th December 2022 final public meeting

On Thursday December 8th, Islington council in North London held their final publicly accessible meeting at the town hall in Upper Street.

The over development of open spaces was an issue represented with a well attended amount of supporters as were the those equally disappointed in the councils enforcement of low traffic neighbourhoods.

A lively public chamber ensured local press interest that resulted in the best part of two pages in the local Tribune paper and an incident where one member of the public was subjected to a sustained verbal assault from a serving councillor, we interviewed the woman in question where she laid bare her concerns with some very thought provoking responses.
