Backstreet Boys Nick Carter accused of rape

A 39-year-old woman is suing Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys, saying he raped her in 2001.
Shannon Ruth, who has autism and cerebral palsy, filed a sexual battery lawsuit in Clark County, Nevada on Thursday. Clark claims Carter gave her alcohol and assaulted her after a concert in Tacoma, Washington when she was 17.
Nick Carter denied the allegations in a statement from his attorney and no criminal charges have been filed.
