Don't Heat Your Chicken Coop, Do This Instead

In this video, Winter is coming. Are you worried about heating your chicken coop? No need to worry. Use the deep bedding method and your chickens will stay comfortable and warm all winter long in the coop. In Minnesota it can get as cold as -20 and lower, and we don't heat our coops! Lohre Farm is located just east of Crown, Minnesota. Sarah and I purchased our 10 acre homestead in 2017 and have grown from a small garden to just a few acres of sustainable food growth. With the help of our children, we grow a variety of fruits and vegetables.
