On the eve of the Day of Heroes of the Fatherland, celebrated in the Russian Federation on December 9, the ceremony of awarding the Gold Star medals to the Heroes of Russia took place in the Georgievsky Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace. The solemn event was attended by over 200 military and civilians who showed special courage and heroism, including Heroes of the Soviet Union, Heroes of the Russian Federation and holders of the Order of St. George.
