U.S. Constitution Grants State Legislatures Authority Over Federal Elections in Their States

ALEC submitted a friend-of-the-court brief in the case of Moore v. Harper before the Supreme Court. The question for the justices is whether or not state courts can usurp the constitutionally granted authority of state legislatures to determine the "times, places and manner" of federal elections.
