Rolling out bales of hay that have mould prevents ewes from getting sick

Sheep are smart enough to pick around what is not good for them. The only time they’re likely to get sick from mouldy hay is if it’s all they have to eat and they’re hungry. Some farmers will see this as wasteful. I see this as allowing sheep to eat what’s best for them and keeps them healthy.
