Off Grid Hyperadobe Chicken Coop Tower

Today is day 3 of our off grid hyperadobe chicken coop tower build and today I am building a bucket dollar system to help make laying our hyperadobe earthbags easier.

Hi and welcome! We are Douglas and Keri and we recently quit our jobs, sold everything, and in September of 2022 we took a leap of faith and moved onto our off grid homestead property in the high desert of Cochise County, Arizona. Follow along with us as we build our off grid homestead property with our two rebels, Willow & Zoey and our 16 y/o kitty, Boo.

For this project I used a dolly that we got from Tractor Supply, two 5 gallon buckets, some 2 x 4s, some 1 x 6s, and some misc. Brackets that I got from Ace Hardware.

I didn’t really have a set plan on how this was going to go together, but I’ve watched several other people do it and had some ideas. I think it turned out pretty decently and hopefully it holds up well. We will be starting the actual build very soon, so stay tuned!
